The manual data entry process was time-consuming, with thousands of examiners spending up to 10 minutes per script. With over 3.5 million scripts to be processed, this process could take several months to complete. The manual process was also prone to human errors, leading to inaccurate results. Additionally, the lack of audibility made it difficult to track errors or identify the cause of discrepancies.
DigiClave Solution:
DigiClave developed a secure and progressive mobile app that does not require installation and can take a real-time snapshot of the script. The app uses cloud-based OCR to extract marks from the image, which are displayed on the Quality Control (QC) screen for verification. Once verified, the marks are pushed to the primary results system within seconds. The app is designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data, with the captured image deleted immediately after being processed.
